Lunch Break, Mt Buller, Victoria, Australia 2022
The Whitest Days of Winter collection was captured on a particularly inclement winter's day on Mt Buller in Victoria's high country. Hoping for a 'blue sky' day to capture a series of colourful snow scenes, instead, the rolling fog, and at times almost white-out conditions created a sense of mystery and was perfect for what became this series of black & white prints. The skiis and snowboards, the hint of buildings or chairlifts create a contrast against the white of the snow and fog, and tell the story of how, regardless of the weather, this is one of our favourite winter pastimes. For more information on ordering these prints, please see the FAQ section remember to drop me a line if you still have questions.
These limited edition prints are sold UNFRAMED. The main image is indicative of how this print would look in my recommended raw Oak Framing option. See 'Additional Images' tab for more details. I always recommend using a professional framer to ensure your print is given the level of care it deserves, and to show it off to it's full potential. Framing options are offered for Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula customers.
Each print is beautifully and professionally printed using the giclee method, featuring archival pigment inks, on gorgeous Canson Infinity Rag Photographique paper which is designed to meet galleries and museum longevity requirements. Q. What framing options do you offer?
I work with a fabulous local company, Forman Art & Framing, who do an amazing job with framing my prints. I love a beautiful raw oak gallery frame, but other options are also available.
Q. What is the standard turnaround time?
As each print is custom printed upon ordering, production time is generally 2-3 business days for prints only with an additional 2-3 business days for framing – plus delivery time. I will always do my best to help with urgent deadlines, but cannot guarantee a faster turnaround.
Q. Can existing images be customised?
If you would prefer an existing B&W image in colour, or vice versa, or the orientation of an image to be changed to portrait, landscape, or square, I am happy to work with you to customise an image to suit your needs. Some images can work equally well in any colour-way or orientation, but others lose their impact… but let’s give it a go and find out!
Q. If I’ve seen an image of yours that is not on your website, can it be created as a print?
Yes. I have a huge archive of images, and not all make it to my online Print Store – but it doesn’t mean they’re not available to purchase. If you see one that you love let me know and I’d be happy to create a new listing for you.
Q. Do you offer trade discounts for interior designers or stylists?
Yes. Please see the Retail & Trade Accounts page for more details.
