Lisa Atkinson is a commercial lifestyle photographer with over 20 years professional photography experience.
SEEKER OF BEAUTY + LOVER OF ADVENTURE
Specialising in “Spaces, Places, and All Things Lifestyle” my work is vibrant and detailed, with a sense of spontaneity and effortlessness, and a love of natural light inspired by living by the coast. My approach to working with clients is to keep things relaxed and simple, have a can-do attitude, and ultimately providing beautiful, natural images to elevate your business, and your brand.
As an Interior Decoration and Design graduate from RMIT, my love of interiors (and exteriors) enables me to photograph commercial and residential spaces through the eyes of not only a photographer, but also a designer. To this end, I love collaborating with designers and architects to capture their projects for portfolios and marketing materials, with a natural, editorial style. My clients for this genre of photography also include Real Estate agencies and AirBnB / short stay accommodation owners who use editorial-style lifestyle images of their properties to enhance sales and online marketing campaigns, with fabulous results.
As a frequent collaborator with Australia’s favourite homemaker and style icon, Chyka Keebaugh, I not only provide the majority of images for lifestyle website Chyka.com, but also photographed Chyka’s first book “Chyka Home”. Food, entertaining, and travel are some of my favourite subjects to photograph, and my work with Chyka encompasses all of this and more.
After taking a break from photographing weddings for several years to establish myself in the commercial lifestyle sector, I am happy to say I have recently opened up my diary to a photograph a limited number of weddings each year, specialising in remarriages, small and micro weddings and elopements. These gorgeous occasions are captured in my natural, photo-journalistic style, and my philosophy now, as it was back when I started in 1998 is “Bride-chilla’s not Bride-zillas”. If this sounds like you, I would love to hear from you.
Finally, The Print Store is my long awaited opportunity to share my personal photographic projects with the world, in the form of beautiful fine-art prints to display on your walls.
If you think that I’d be a great match for you and your brand, or if you have any questions at all, please drop me a line. I can’t wait to collaborate!
