As Seen On…The Block 2026

PRINT STORE

Our sleepy little village of Mount Eliza has been abuzz with excitement since it was announced late last year that The Block 2026 would be filmed in our neck of the woods.  Having the Block in town has been a great to promote local business and artists, and of course the beauty and incredible lifestyle that comes with living on the Mornington Peninsula.  In April this year I was approached by Jolene (one half of ‘Adam & Jolene’) from House 1 to provide a local image that would become a feature mural in their Rumpus Room, courtesy of Graphico.  They wanted an image that was deliberately edited to be quite overexposed and ‘blown out’, and in colour tones to match their natural rendered walls, and decided on ‘The Stairway’ for the way it draws the eye into the frame and also as it was captured down the end of the street that The Block homes are located, at Daveys Bay Beach.

Here’s the images of the gorgeous finished room, along with a little ‘site visit’ shot featuring “that view” taken with Jolene and Kel from local homewares store Terracotta Clover (where you can also purchase a selection of my A3 sized framed prints).  If you love the mural and can envisage it as a feature wall in your own home, you can order it sized to fit your space directly from Graphico by clicking here.  If a whole wall is a bit too much of a commitment, a limited edition B&W fine art print version (available framed or unframed) of The Stairway is available here.  Go House 1!
