Recently I went back to the island of Bali after a 12 year hiatus. Why so long? Life, I guess… Anyway, I adored being back in the bustling streets of Seminyak – full of honking horns, vibrant murals, cool clubs and hotels, tattoo shops, market stalls and all the craziness that goes with it. Wandering with a camera in hand is my very favourite thing to do while travelling. Having the time to stop and observe life on the street (or on the beach) is the perfect way to connect with a destination, and see beyond the obvious to the beauty, chaos, and soul of the people and the place. I’ll be back!
