Lifted 2, Mt Buller, Victoria, Australia 2022
The Whitest Days of Winter collection was captured on a particularly inclement winter's day on Mt Buller in Victoria's high country. Hoping for a 'blue sky' day to capture a series of colourful snow scenes, instead, the rolling fog, and at times almost white-out conditions created a sense of mystery and was perfect for what became this series of black & white prints. The skiis and snowboards, the hint of buildings or chairlifts create a contrast against the white of the snow and fog, and tell the story of how, regardless of the weather, this is one of our favourite winter pastimes.
